Adewale ‘ICE’ Agoi is a Nigerian born gospel lyricist, minister, rapper and teacher. The name I.C.E an acronym for "Intelligent Choice on Eternity" was born out of his desire to see people make an informed choice on their eternity based on an understanding of what Jesus has done for them.  Born into a family of 8, Ice had his musical roots singing and performing in church choirs around the country. In 2006 while studying at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, he discovered an innate ability to use words to convey his passion and love for God and thus began his rap ministry. 

That same year he became the head of the rap arm of one of Nigeria's biggest youth groups ‘YWAP’ where he served  and still serves as a spiritual and musical mentor to many talented , upcoming artistes. He headed the team for several years while developing his solo gift. 

In 2010, he released his much anticipated promotional CD "I’m Nigerian" with the hit tracks I’m Nigerian and Gbemisoke, which has since become a worship favorite in churches across Nigeria . ICE has featured on stage concerts all across Nigeria and Africa like "The Move Tour Concert" by Madmo concepts and the "Light Concert" at Sheraton and Towers, being on stage with international acts like Da Truth, Ambassador, Jehaziel and Jezreel and has worked with such notable artistes as Nutty Josh and Tolu of MTN project fame.

ICE describes himself as ‘a teacher who uses rap as a medium to deliver the message of grace’ and has a vision to takeover by spreading the word of grace through his musical and teaching gifts.

An exceptionally gifted writer and lyricist, ICE delivers his message in a way that is clear, concise and up-lifting. He does not compromise on the content or the beat of his music as he believes that one is as important as the other.

He was nominated for Best Hiphop artiste at the 2012 Sceptres Award. The following year he released two brand new singles  ‘Blood on the Sand’ and ‘Kosi-Gbese’ which have received wide spread acclaim from fans and critics alike.

FROM KOKOMASTER TO KOKO FARMER! D’BANJ JOINS ‘ONE’ TO LAUNCH THE YEAR OF AGRICULTURE

Internationally acclaimed Nigerian singer-songwriter D’banj, will be at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia this week to help ONE officially launch the campaign during the ‘Year of Agriculture’ campaign at the AU Summit. He will unveil the official name and logo of the campaign, as well as launch ONE’s online petition, calling on leaders to invest more and better in agriculture.#

Real name Omoniyi Afuye, a graduate of Geology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, En-y eventually followed his passion to go into music production after his university education, thanks to the influence and support of mentor and ace producer, OJB Jezreel.

Early this morning, we received an open letter from a representative of the The Nigerian Army, stating the ban of the use of the Nigerian Military camouflage by celebrities and individuals alike. 

Do read the letter below and know once and for all...THAT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED OOOO!!!  

AN OPEN LETTER TO NIGERIAN CELEBRITIES

This is to inform the general public and most especially Nigerian celebrities to abstain from the use and abuse of the Nigerian Military camouflage. Several investigations were carried out and we noticed the camouflage is mostly been used by Nigerian celebrities in music videos, photo-shoots and concerts.

In this same videos and photo sessions, Nigerian celebrities like "Jesse Jags" smoke marijuana while putting on the Nigerian Military camouflage. This is a shameful act and it will NOT be tolerated henceforth.

Other Celebrities have also been noticed putting on the camouflage at will. They include Iyanya, Wizkid, Davido, Tekno Miles, Chidinma etc.

The military camouflage is not meant for the entertainment industry, It is strictly meant for military personnels. Henceforth, any civilian found GUILTY of putting on the camouflage irrespective of their social status will be dealt with severely.

OUR ACTIONS WILL NOT BE QUESTIONED.

The multinational mega corporation Pepsi is supporting Christian Music by featuring Christian artistes on their limited edition cans.

For the first time in history last year, Pepsi supported Christian music by displaying a handful of Christian artists and their messages of hope on the brand’s popular cans.

Toward the end of 2013, the Winter Jam Tour and Pepsi MidAmerica joined forces for one of the largest Christian music marketing initiatives in the history of the beverage industry.

Pepsi decided to help spread positive music after being the sponsor of the K-Love Fan Awards. K-LOVE, the leading Christian radio network in the United States, with a weekly listenership of over 13 million, followed that up by launching the “Christian Artist Can Panel.”

Each Christian artist involved with the project was featured on three million cans of soda (12 million total). Each of these cans included a link to get a free download by that artist. The artist’s featured on the can were Francesca Battistelli-Diet Pepsi, Matt Maher- Dr. Pepper, Matthew West- Pepsi, and TobyMac on Mountain Dew.

When announcing their sponsorship of the K-Love Fan Awards, Pepsi MidAmerica’s President and COO Lee Crisp said, “We are proud to sponsor such an amazing event with such a positive meaning.”

Temisan approached Mex with a basic idea for Joromi, and from there they developed the concept together..A better pairing in terms of talent would be hard to find!

The song Joromi is very energetic and up-tempo which fits the vibrant, fun colours of the video. The song does however feature high rated video vixen and choreographers.

The video makes people engage with the concept through questions and it tries to convey and communicate a feeling, rather than an explicit message. This video doesn't tell an explicit story through story line, but rather tells an implicit story through emotion of want, love, and wishes.

FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR STAR, UNCLE PHIL (JAMES AVERY) DIES AT 68 ON NEW YEAR'S EVE.

Popular TV star, James Avery has died at the age of 68. The actor who played Uncle Phil on the popular ’90s TV series “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air,” died last night (31st December,2013) due to complications from an open heart surgery at a Los Angeles hospital 

James La Rue Avery, Sr. (November 27, 1945 – December 31, 2013) was an American actor, best known for his portrayal of the patriarch and attorney (later judge) Philip Banks, Will Smith's character's uncle, in the TV show "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air". This character was ranked #34 in TV Guide's "50 Greatest TV Dads of All Time."

He wrote poetry and television scripts before enjoying a host of acting roles in a large number of films and TV shows. These included roles in Greys Anatomy, The Closer and Star Trek: Enterprise, and a voice role in 1996 movie Happy Gilmore. He also provided the voice of Shredder in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles television series, as well as War Machine in the animated series Iron Man and Junkyard Dog in Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling. He also played Michael Kelso's commanding officer at the police academy late in the series run of the popular sitcom That '70s Show.

He had been working until September of 2013 on the Zach Braff film "Wish I Was Here", which will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.

Alfonso Ribeiro (who played Carlton, Avery's co-star on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), tweeted "I'm deeply saddened to say that James Avery has passed away. He was a second father to me. I will miss him greatly."

Avery was survived by his wife of 26 years, Barbara; his mother, Florence Avery, and his step-son, Kevin Waters.

Plans are already being made for a memorial service.
