Chocolate City and EbonyLife TV have announced a strategic partnership called ‘Chocolate City Unsigned’, a genuine homegrown reality TV show created to search for the next Africa’s biggest music star, spearheaded by Chocolate City, one of Africa's biggest indigenous record labels, and EbonyLife TV, Africa’s first Global Black Entertainment and Lifestyle network and production powerhouse.

A new collabo is in the making between two of Nigeria’s finest female vocalists.

Award winning Soul Singer, Nikki Laoye revealed the upcoming collaboration with Nigerian Female singer/Pepsi Ambassador, Seyi Shay on her Instagram as she posted the photos of the two singers at her Wahala Media Studios in Ikoyi, Lagos on Friday night, 22nd of January 2016.

Her post read - "Up in my studio tonight with my sweet dearie Seyi Shay. Can’t wait for y’all to hear what we got for you". She further hints that the "song is dear to my heart, my life". 

The music producer behind the song is Award winning Music Magnate, Wilson Joel, who had also produced Nikki's renowned version of the Nigerian National Anthem,a special patriotism awareness project by media mogul, Mo Abudu for EbonyLife TV. 

Nikki Laoye and Seyi Shay are well known for their unique vocal dexterity and a collaboration between them is certainly one to look out for.

The show is a travelogue in Igbo language (with English sub-titles), which showcases the sights, sounds as well as the rich culture of the Igbo people. The show is hosted by Nollywood Actress Kiki Omeili and Kelechi 'Kaycee' Udechukwu, and it chronicles their journeys across Igboland, showcasing a variety of rich histories, cultures, geographical gems, food, arts craft and many other wonders.

Celebrities in attendance at the event were Gideon Okeke, Korede Bello, Linda Ejiofor, Meg Otanwa, Yaw, Funny Bone, Judith Audu, Lilian Esoro-Franklin amongst others.

The show is directed by Brian C. Ezeike, and produced by Mazi Waga and Brian C. Ezeike. It airs every Sunday at 5pm on Africa Magic - Igbo.

Award winning producer and UN Peace Ambassador Wole Oni has opened the door of WOMP & Instinct Production at a new facility in Lekki, Lagos.

The new ultra modern facility that houses the outfits has been opened in order to accommodate the ever expanding frontiers and give clients a more friendly, conducive and better state of the art production experience from the premises, down to the lobby and into the studios, which also include a live recording studio.

WOMP & Instinct Production has churned out over 1500 tracks with the dexterity of Wole Oni at the helm of production including the KORA Award winning “Kosobabire” by Folake Umosen, “Igwe” by Midnight Crew, “Ijoba Orun” by Lara George, “Olo Mi” by Tosin Martins and many more. Other artistes include Onyeka Onwenu, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Dele Bamigboye, Kefee, Segun Obe, Ara, Tim Godfery and Xtreme Crew,  Chrysolite (South Africa) and many others. Wole Oni is also the brain behind a lot of great on-air commercials in Nigeria such as MTN's (Moving You Ahead), the new Stanbic IBTC, CFC (Communicating for Change), Access Bank (voice over), Milo, Promasidor, GTB, Power Horse and Others.
