Veteran Producer and Singer, Babatunde Okungbowa, popularly known as OJB Jezreel has passed on today from complications following the kidney transplant surgery he had about two years ago.
After a successful transplant in 2013, donated by his first wife, Mabel, the producer had recovered pretty well and was back to normal activities.
News filtered in soon enough of a relapse two weeks ago and he had been on dialysis once again but finally gave up in the early hours of today.
He would have been 50 years old in July.
The country has been thrown into mourning since the news broke out on social media.
