HENRISOUL WELCOMES HIS FIRST SON WITH A NEW SONG, "NUBOCHI (A NEW DAWN)" FEATURING EBEN

 

It’s all shades of newness, as Award winning Nigerian Gospel Artist,  Henrisoul, who recently relocated to the United States of America to join his beautiful wife, Foluke, welcomed his first born baby boy at 11:41am on the 17th of June, 2021 at Arlington Memorial Hospital, Dallas, Texas America. 

Henrisoul crowns this landmark testimony with a new song titled Nubochi (A New Dawn) featuring the dynamic minstrel, Eben. 

Produced by Teekay Witty and Guitars by JFC, the song is a special rendition of an old folktale Igbo, that simply talks about the Goodness of God at the dawning of every new day.

YouTube child stars and Young authors of the Icecream Adventure ebook series, Amber And Ruby Oyinsan turn 8 today April 15th 2021 and celebrate with a glam photoshoot.

Nigerian twin daughters of award winning Media Personalites Oscar and Titi Oyinsan had a glam photoshoot with Renowned child photographer M12 Photography.  

                                    

The theme of the shoot is "Amber and Ruby- All Grown Up"

The glam styling choices  came from ankara childrens clothing designer @tilda_designs and  @Uk.home with their Hair styling by Momager, Titithedynamite and Balloons courtesy @luxeBallons.ng.

The shoot showcases just how much these intelligent and outspoken twins have grown and how much more they still have to showcase on their new YouTube channel "AmberAndRuby Oyinsan"

The channel started following a long string of cute videos on thier Instagram handle @amberandrubyoyinsan which  quickly became the go-to handle for parents to appreciate the parenting efforts of Oscar and Titi Oyinsan.They have begun a book series  "Adventures of Amber Amd Ruby" curated by internationally acclaimed author and Illustrator Temi and Francis Adeshina of the "Bantu the Bully" children's book series @Readlandng

Amber plays Soccer, is a fan of contemporary music and has excelled in numerous coding competitions as she  builds #Roblox online games as a hobby. Ruby is very skilled with paint, other arts and craft,  science experiments and has a very keen eye for fashion styling.

From Nigeria & Ghana with Love: Out today is the highly anticipated soulful collaboration, “JÉSÙ”  by Award winning Nigerian Gospel Artist, Nikki Laoye and Ghanaian Gospel Artist, Cwesi Oteng.

An African Ode to Jesus, the song is the Yoruba adaptation of the renowned title track, “Yesu” off Cwesi’s EP, which is a celebration of the Love, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ on a musical journey from Ghana through Nigeria to Zambia, and back to Ghana.

Translated by Nikki Laoye and her mum, the singer shares her experience working on the song with Cwesi: “JÉSÙ is more than a song to me, it’s my heart and my life in words to the One true lover of my soul- JESUS and I know that it would definitely bless everyone who hears it.

When Cwesi reached out to me 3 years ago about creating a Yoruba version of his song, I totally fell in love with the idea of recording a song from start to finish in my local dialect and as expected, it was an indescribable, explosive expression of raw emotion in the studio booth and beyond.

Singing to God in Yoruba gets me super emotional everytime as my soul obviously connects in deep ways that I can’t even comprehend.

It was also fun working with my mum as she helped translate and also sat with me in the studio, to ensure that I pronounced the words and intonations correctly as this would be my very first 100% concentrated Yoruba song.”

Also Speaking about the song, Cwesi Oteng shares: ‘’The song ‘Jésù’ from the collaboration with Nikki Laoye is very special to me. It took us three years to get the song completed after Nikki sent the vocals. There was a lot that happened between those three years that could have made us lose the files, but God wanted this time to actualize the song and the EP.

Nikki is an anointed singer with a heavenly voice and so it is an honour for me to work with her on the song. I believe this song is anointed and has been prepared to touch many lives across Africa and beyond,’’

“JÉSÙ” is also one of the singles on Cwesi’s “YESU EP (An African Ode to Jesus)” – a specially curated EP for the Easter festive season. A 7-track EP centred on the essence of the redemptive work of Jesus and the gift of salvation made available to humanity to have a renewed relationship with God.

With his original version, “Yesu” delivered in his native Asante Twi dialect, Cwesi collaborates with award-winning vocalist friends in Nikki Laoye (Nigeria) and Penjani Ng’uni (Zambia) for the Yoruba (Jésù) and Pemba (Yesu) adaptations of the title track respectively.

10 YEARS LATER: BET SUNDAY BEST RETURNS TO NIGERIA | CALL FOR LAGOS AUDITIONS

BET SUNDAY BEST - Lagos Auditions - Who would represent Nigeria this time around? 

BET Africa (DStv channel 129)  is opening up the industry this year with a gospel talent search in South Africa and Nigeria scouting the next best and biggest local gospel singer to join BET in the USA for the production of the ninth season of Sunday Best gospel music show.

This year, BET Africa will travel between South Africa and Nigeria in the hopes of finding angelic gospel voices who will be selected to participate in the show, with all expenses paid, from 15 April to 15 May this year. Contestants will be part of the top 20 gospel stars from around the world competing for the top prize.

Nigerian Auditions will be at Harbour Point, Victoria Island - on Friday, 29 March from 08:00 WAT.

Gospel hopefuls must come along with a passport photograph and must have a valid international passport

Here thousands will face local celebrity judges such as Award winning Gospel Artists, Nikki Laoye, Segun Obe along with Songwriter & Record producer, @RotimiKeys – who will select the next big gospel sensation.

This is the second time BET would be giving one lucky Nigerian a chance to represent Africa on the Sunday Best Stage.

In 2009, The Lagos Auditions was hosted by Multiple Grammy Award winner, Kirk Franklin with the judges - Donnie McClurkin, Kim Burell and UK based Nigerian-born singer, Muyiwa Olarewaju at Eko Hotel, Lagos.

Other Preliminary judges for the edition included Nigerian Gospel Artists, Nikki Laoye & Lara George.

Talented Nigerian singer, Priscilla Bello emerged the winning contestant but couldn't make the trip to the states for the competition due to travel issues and was substituted with the 1st runner up,Funmi Oduyemi, who sadly didn't make it beyond the first round of the competition.

The Timothy King produced single was written and directed by Banky W and shot on locations in Lagos, Nigeria.

“Whatchu Doing Tonight” features cameo appearances from Enyinna Nwigwe, Idia Aisen, Jemima Osunde, Alternate Sound Band and DNMT.

Banky W premiered the video on his official YouTube channel with an IG post saying:

TIM GODFREY PRESENTS “SOUNDCHECK” – A MUSIC TALENT SHOW | REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

The Rox Nation, under the able leadership of Multiple Award Winning Producer, Singer, Songwriter, Tim Godfrey is excited to introduce a revolutionary talent discovery and development project called SOUNDCHECK.

Rox Nation, an entertainment production company that has produced landmark projects like Fearless, Ewuro, The Journey Begins etc is poised to change the face of  reality shows with the aim of discovering, developing and showcasing singers and rappers out of Nigeria.

Soundcheck, a TV Reality show seeks to give a global platform to talented individuals musically.

This video will be reposted on the @timgodfreyworld page and shortlisted contestants will cross over to the next stage, which will be the Live Auditions.

The shortlisting process would continue until a 30 man team of successful contestants  would be selected to come into the house for proper mentoring, grooming and training by Tim Godfrey and other Music coaches (Faculty Team).

At the end of the show, One winner would emerge.

Multiple Award winning Soul Singer, Nikki Laoye has just officially released her new trio photoshoot comprising of three different looks, all styled by herself with make up by her best friend/MUA, Lauretta Cookey of Doll House Afrique.

Widely known as a tomboy, Nikki Laoye decided to turn it up a notch to express the different sides to her personality and fashion style.

The stunning pictures were taken by talented photographer, Krixtien who has handled other projects for Nikki Laoye including video shoot photography and coverage of her humanitarian projects.

The singer, who is celebrating 11 years of her musical career, is planning to host a thanksgiving concert before the end of the year and after the wide recognition of her acoustic version of Todd Dulaney's popular worship single, "Victory Belongs to Jesus", Nikki is on the verge of releasing more music including a new dance single within the next couple of weeks.

Nikki Laoye is presently running an empowerment initiative, #BuyACaneProject for the Visually impaired via her Angel 4 Life foundation with the support of kind hearted Nigerians and her colleagues in the music industry including Tiwa Savage, Sammie Okposo, Toke Makinwa, Sinach, Tim Godfrey, Eben, Mike Abdul, Ada, Anny, Segun Obe & many more .
