Aisha grew up in Surulere, Lagos, with her siblings and her father, Jubril Ibrahim Atta from Kogi state who was a real estate business man and her mother, Rebecca Mowarin Atta from Delta state who being a caterer, iginited Aisha's flare and love for making cakes.
Aisha attended Sunny Fields Primary school and went on to Federal Government Girls College, Sagamu, Nigeria, where she was known for her remarkable skills and creativity in Fine Arts. She studied Architecture in the University of Lagos where she was torn between her desire to become an architect and her love and passion for making & designing beautiful, outstanding cakes.
Right after completing the NYSC program, she was employed by Diamond Bank's insurance arm; ADIC Insurance where she contributed to the implementation of new business ideas and initiatives whilst still making out time for her cakes.
In September 2009, after 2 years of juggling insurance and cakes, Aisha decided to take the plunge into the unknown by resigning. Coincidentally, 1st of October 2009, being the country's indepence day marked the beginning of a new era for SayCheese and also set off the new air of independence for the young entrepreneur.
It's a year now and so far, there's a remarkable increase in demand for wedding cakes and other celebration cakes by SayCheese due to the impeccable taste, style and creativity SayCheese is being known for.
