Emerging top 6, out of tens of thousands of people that auditioned for the show all over West Africa, Ochuko wowed audiences with his sultry voice and professional performance, while building a loyal following after each episode.
Penning and performing his single "GET UP" ,whilst in the competition, projected Ochuko to the limelight and marked his evolution, not just as a singer, songwriter but also as a performing artiste, set to take African R&B to new heights.


And boy, is He ready!!!...And now we present to you the brand new video of the same hit song, you all loved to hear Ochuko sing...."GET UP".
Shot and Directed in Ghana by Ahenfo (A-FX), what we have here, is a real nice representation of the song and of cos, the groove never ends...keep it on replay and you'll understand what am saying...hehe!!


ABOUT O.CHU.KO (pronounced or-chu-ko)
Born to Mr and Mrs. Sifo, both from Delta State, Nigeria, Ochuko’s love for music started at the tender age of 9, which launched him early into the world of music. He nurtured his R&B passion while in Babcock University where he got a degree in Business Administration.  During his undergraduate years in B.U, he joined – JOOWE, an Accapella group of 5 young men with two of his brothers and two close friends. The group performed at all major campus events and won an award for best new group on campus.
After graduation, the group members pursued personal interests while Ochuko and a close friend became a duo called *‘2Ignite’*. In 2007, they released 3 singles titled ‘*What’s your name*’, ‘*All I need feat. Juliet’* and ‘*The Reason*’.

A uniquely gifted vocalist and performer, Ochuko decided to pursue a career in the private sector in 2008, where he built on his experience as a Marketer and Human Resource specialist . During his stint in the private sector, his passion for music was fuelled through his role as a lead singer in his church choir and he has now returned to his first love –‘*MUSIC’* as a full time job.
