A fiction story adapted from the true story of Mr. Cosmas Okoli, CEO and Founder of MAARDEC who has fought for the comfort of people living with disabilities for years in Nigeria and invented great and affordable aids for the disabled that made their world a better place.
Once a little disabled boy people looked down upon but now a Hero others look up to.
His story is now an inspiring comic book that explains the super abilities in every disability. COSMAS shows the world that it takes a man to loose one part of his abilities before he realizes how powerful the human body really is.
The story goes a long way, divided into seasons, from the boy COSMAS to the grown up man.
The Young Cosmas character whose disability to walk like every other normal child has developed great abilities of using the rest of his body to 100% perfection especially his I.Q which has been genetically tested to be 10 points higher than his peer group. He has a higher IQ,speed and energy than any abled human and he loves technology. As the story goes on, we find out how this young crawler transformed himself into a great inventor of Cyber walking frames and suits that made his disability a challenge in the past.
The real, Cosmas Okoli himself powers this comic book project.

OBJECTIVES of the comic book - "COSMAS"
1. DISCOURAGE DISCRIMINATION This Educational and action packed Comic Book has a lot of positive influence on its readers. It especially accords the reader the liberty to appreciate people living with disabilities, HIV or any kind of sickness. It also encourages them to put paid to any form of DISCRIMINATION against people living with disabilities.
2. GENERATE A PROUDLY MADE IN NIGERIA COMIC BOOK We live in a society that have not yet been satisfied with a made in Nigeria comic book with international taste and appeal. Many Comic lovers patronize DC and Marvel Comics made in the United States while others go online to read Japanese Comics. Our research shows that Nigerians crave to read comic books with great production qualities and stories they can relate with.This is what we have achieved with Cosmas.
3. GIVE OUR CHILDREN A COMIC HERO Every Child wants an imaginary hero. BEN10,a western fiction super hero is fast claiming that spot across the continents. We can give our Children their own Nigerian Hero and educate them through him. The Cosmas Comic Book will give the children what they have been missing out on:“The Age of Good Comic Books”.
