MUSIC: NIKKI LAOYE RELEASES NEW SINGLE "NO BE BEANS" TODAY !!

Nikki Laoye makes a great comeback with her new single "No Be Beans" featuring fast rising Yoruba RapBoy, Base One, who created quite a buzz with his lyrical prowess during Don Jazzy's Enigma saga. Produced by her younger brother, Xblaze (who also produced “Taka Sufe”), the hip-hop laced track expresses her acknowledgement of God’s grace despite the dark times she’s been through.
The song is being released a few months after the loss of Nikki’s father and in her own words, "It's been a real tough year. Losing my Dad 3 months ago was the most heartbreaking moment of my life. No be Beans at all oh but God has been there for me and my family like never before. Base One is a fantastic artiste and he helped me put my words on paper.

Now I got a new song on my lips and hey, I'll be getting married soon too. This year is definitely gonna end well.
“No Be Beans”- co-written by Base One, is highly marked by its catchy lyrics, chorus and remarkable beat production. Everyone will definitely keep their fingers on the replay button.
Featured artiste, Base One is an indigenous hip-hop artiste in a league of his own.

Self acclaimed as a “lyrical madman”, Base One is an engaging act to watch out for. His first single “SuruLere” has been getting great reviews and it’s already carving a niche for him in the Nigerian music scene.

“No Be Beans” is an amazing collaboration between Nikki and Base One as it offers more insight to her eccentric musical delivery and style.

NEWS: BABA SUWE FINALLY RELEASED!! - Nigerian Comedian's drug arrest makes agency a joke (as reported by Yahoo! News)

Even we Nigerians were "flabberwhelmed" and "overgasted" at how this incident with our top actor/comedian , Baba Suwe had played out thus far and finally he's been set free on bail. NDLEA is highly question and would be probably sued by the comedian for the public humilitian for the past 23 days or more. See how Yahoo News don yab NDLEA as well....ok o...We give you the gist from Yahoo News!...
(by the way, we all know a Home Movie is definately coming out of this story..maybe Baba Suwe will play himself..LOL! )

Read below:

Investigators detained the famous Nigerian comedian at the airport, accusing him of swallowing narcotics before trying to board a flight to Paris. But after 25 closely monitored bowel movements,Baba Suwe produced nothing suspicious
Instead he's made drug enforcement agents the punch line in a country that's a gateway for heroin and cocaine entering Europe and the United States. On Tuesday, his court appearance amounted to one important question from a stern-faced judge: "You've been to the toilet how many times?"

Baba Suwe's life has been reduced almost to a potty-humor joke after drug enforcement agents arrested the 53-year-old actor on suspicion of hiding drugs inside his body.
Television news programs have brought on analysts to discuss the actor's bowel movements. And writers have compared the incident to when police arrested late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti on suspicion of ingesting marijuana, which the musician later memorialized in an unprintable song and album title.

However, Suwe's defense lawyer says the case also has more ominous implications for Nigeria's criminal system.
That "somebody of Baba Suwe's popularity, somebody of his standing in the Nigerian society, somebody's who's so famous can be hauled into detention without any attempt of filing a charge against him, that tells you we may have several thousand people languishing in (drug agency) detention centers with no access to justice," Bamidele Aturu said.

Baba Suwe, whose real name is Babatunde Omidina, is a popular figure in Nigeria's robust national film industry known as Nollywood. He provides comic relief in films as a butler or a security guard in some films, or as the lead actor in movies spoken in his native Yoruba language.
On Oct. 12, he arrived at Lagos' Murtala Muhammed International Airport to board an overnight Air France flight to Paris, where he was to host a naming ceremony for a newborn. Agents of Nigeria's National Drug Law Enforcement Agency pulled him out of line for a further screening, officials said.
Such searches remain common in Nigeria, as drug enforcement agents conduct selective searches, usually focusing on travelers who fit the profile of a possible drug courier. It remains unclear why agents specifically pulled Baba Suwe out of line, as his lawyer said Tuesday that their selection came after authorities received "information" about his client.

Agents put Baba Suwe through a full-body scanner at the airport that detected a suspicious object inside his body, the agency has said. They detained the actor and newspaper headlines the next morning blared that the actor had been caught with cocaine inside his body.
Except no drugs have come out.

On Tuesday, Baba Suwe appeared in a federal high court in Lagos to challenge his continued detention without charges. His case brought out fans who lined the court compound's fence, peering through the slates to catch a glimpse of the diminutive star.
"As a public person, it's an embarrassment to him and his fans," said Sunday Iyip, 43, who works as a security guard.

The case also has proven to be a high-profile embarrassment for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, which parades a series of suspects before journalists to show its efforts to stop drug trafficking.
Despite its campaign, Nigeria remains a major transit point for illegal drugs. Between January and October 2010, Nigeria's drug agency seized more than 400 pounds (some 180 kilograms) of cocaine and more than 90 pounds (more than 40 kilograms) of heroin in Lagos, home to the nation's busiest airport, according to a recent U.S. State Department report.
Experts believe much more slipped out of the country via drug mules to airports in Europe and the U.S.
"Nigerian-organized criminal networks remain a major factor in moving cocaine and heroin worldwide," the State Department report reads. "While many of these organizations are not based in Nigeria, large quantities of both cocaine and heroin transit Nigeria on their way to markets in the West."
Femi Oloruntoba, the drug agency's lead prosecutor, said Tuesday that he didn't think the Baba Suwe case had hurt his agency's image.
"With all the scans and the expert opinion, it's reasonable for us to hold onto" him, the prosecutor said.

Yet inside the court Tuesday, Justice Yetunde Idowu offered harsh criticism for holding the comedian without charges as the court ordered authorities to free the popular actor. She ordered Baba Suwe to be released Friday on $3,300 bail so long as he doesn't excrete any drugs.
"Mr. Omidina is due for release," Idowu said.

And so Baba Suwe left the court, surrounded by Uzi-carrying anti-drug agents. Outside, his fans mobbed around him, applauding him as he passed.
However, even in the moment of judicial glory, the comedian couldn't escape the joke: Those gathered offered an excrement-themed cheer in his local language.

NEWS: AND KIM KARDASHIAN USES THE "D" WORD.....IN JUST 72 DAYS!!!

And just like that...(i snap my finger), Kim calls it quits with her new hubby of 72 days and where do we hear of it first? the World reknowned follow spot..Twitter.
Ryan Seacrest of E! Entertainment first broke the word and confirmed during “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” that Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from Kris Humphries after only 72 days of marriage and he twitted..(see pic below)

Rumors, Comments and Accusations filled the internet across the world as everyone talked about the divorce news and it was majorly labelled "the scam wedding of the century" .
Oh well, with the huge amount of publicity and money the wedding gulped and was paid for, right before the eyes of the world, you can't blame the people from voicing out their distaste at the whole picture being unravelled at the moment.

The day after, Kim decided to give her side of the story in a candid letter to fans posted on her website addressing the rumors surrounding her sudden divorce.
Read her statement:

This is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. I see all of the support and I am so thankful for my fans, friends and family who are helping me through this difficult time.
I am trying not to read all the different media reports but it’s hard not to see all the negative ones. First and foremost, I married for love. I can’t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show! I share so much of my life on a reality show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest decision. But it’s who I am! We filmed Kourtney giving birth, Khloe getting married, break ups, make ups, our best moments and our worst moments. These were all real moments. That’s what makes us who we are. We share, we give, we love and we are open!
Everyone that knows me knows that I’m a hopeless romantic! I love with all of my heart and soul. I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed in to something too soon. I believed in love and the dream of what I wanted so badly. I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn’t get off when now I know I probably should have. I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn’t know how to and didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.
I’m being honest here and I hope you respect my courage because this isn’t easy to go through. But I do know that I have to follow my heart. I never had the intention of hurting anybody and I accept full responsibility for my actions and decisions, and for taking everyone on this journey with me. It just didn’t turn out to be the fairy tale I had so badly hoped for.
There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this. I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding and I’ll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation.
I’m sorry if I have hurt anyone, but my dad always told me to follow my heart I believe now that I really am.

She recently added on Twitter, “I am trying not to read all the different media reports but it’s hard not to see all the negative ones,” Kardashian tweeted on Tuesday. “First and foremost, I married for love. I can’t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show!”
She says that sharing the wedding with fans on E!’s two part wedding special in early October is just part of who she is and how the Kardashian family chooses to conduct their lives.

“We filmed Kourtney giving birth, Khloe getting married, break ups, make ups, our best moments and our worst moments,” she writes. “These were all real moments. That’s what makes us who we are. We share, we give, we love and we are open!”
She then goes on to describe the “rollercoaster” she was on as the wedding approached and expresses regret for not ending the relationship sooner.
“I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn’t know how to,” she reveals. “And didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.”

Kardashian then ends her statement by saying that reports that she made millions off of her wedding are “simpy not true” and announced that she will be donating the money from her wedding gifts to the Dream Foundation.

NEWS: THE "ARIEL SYNDROME" HITS UK POP STAR, ADELE AS SHE UNDERGOES VOCAL SURGERY

Just like the little mermaid singer, Ariel...Adele has been put on the silent treatment...Thank God, it ain't Ursula, the sea witch's fault this time around.
Singer-songwriter, Adele has been forced by impending surgery to cancel all her remaining tour dates and promotional appearances through the end of the year, her record label said on Friday.
Columbia Records said in a statement that Adele, 23, was cancelling the appearances with "deep regret."
"She is to undergo surgery to alleviate the current issues with her throat and a full recovery is expected. As a result, doctors have ordered her to rest her voice and completely recuperate" before resuming work commitments, the statement said.

Yes, it's confirmed that Adele is undergoing surgery on her vocal chords – but it's not because she has cancer, as some have speculated.
"We would like to reiterate that Adele is to undergo surgery for a hemorrhaged vocal chord," her rep said in a statement Monday in response to rumors on Twitter that the British singer has throat cancer. "All reports regarding any other condition are 100% false."

Adele, 23, has subsequently canceled the remainder of her North American tour, in addition to several dates in the U.K.  The Grammy-winning singer pulled out of 10 US dates on the back of her hit album 21 that has produced hits such as Rolling in the Deep and Someone Like You.

21 is the best-selling album of the year in the United States.
She also cancelled her remaining British dates and Ticket holders will receive refunds.
Adele was forced to postpone several US dates earlier this year due to vocal chord issues and was finishing up a tour in Britain when problems reappeared in early October.

The Grammy winner, who released her chart-topping sophomore album 21 in February, has previously expressed her disappointment, blogging on Oct. 4, "I'm heartbroken and worried to tell you that yet again I'm experiencing problems with my voice."
The singer's surgery is imminent, and doctors have ordered her to rest before performing again, while a statement on her official website says that "a full recovery is expected."

THE LADY CALLED ADELE - HER HISTORY
Adele Laurie Blue Adkins (born 5 May 1988), known professionally as Adele, is an English singer-songwriter. PAUL MCCARTNEY GETS BITTEN BY THE LOVE BEATLE...AGAIN!!

Paul McCartney and his new wife, Nancy Shevell, leave the Marylebone registry office
in central London following their wedding on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011.  (Credit: Getty)

Paul McCartney of the Beatles fame walks down the aisle once again as he marries American heiress Nancy Shevell.
McCartney, 69, and Shevell, 51 had their nuptials at London's Old Marylebone Town Hall, where they exchanged vows in front of 30 family and friends. The reception took place at the couple's home in the city's St. John's Wood neighborhood.
About 100 guests attended the reception, reports say, including Ringo Starr and wife Barbara Bach, Kate Moss, Twiggy, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, Barbara Walters (who is Shevell's cousin) and George Harrison's widow, Olivia. McCartney's four children - Mary, James, Stella and Beatrice - were also reportedly in attendance.

Paul McCartney has written plenty of love songs, but he composed a special new one for his new wife, American heiress Nancy Shevell, which he performed at their wedding reception on Sunday.

"There was a lovely song that our kid did, and they had a lovely dance together," the former Beatle's brother, Mike McCartney, told reporters. "That was a nice little highlight of the evening."
He also sang "Let It Be" and "Let Me Roll It," one of Shevell's favorite songs, according to the New York Post.

According to People magazine, guests dined on vegetarian fare including an arugula and basil salad, goat cheese polenta, savory tarts and dumplings. There were two wedding cakes - one traditional and one vegan.

Guests reportedly partied into the early hours of the morning. The Daily Mail reports that the reception sparked noise complaints from McCartney's neighbors, and that noise control officers came to the house around 1:30 a.m. to ask revelers to turn down the volume. They did, but the party continued, with Moss and Wood reportedly being the last guests to leave at 3 a.m.

The couple's wedding date and venue both had significance - they married on what would have been John Lennon's 71st birthday, in the same town hall where McCartney married his first wife, the late Linda McCartney, in 1969.

According to reports, McCartney's youngest daughter, 7-year-old Beatrice, served as the flower girl, while his brother was the best man. His daughter, fashion designer Stella McCartney, designed Shevell's ivory, knee-length wedding dress, along with her father's navy suit for the big day.

This is McCartney's third marriage, and Shevell's second.

He's also produced HipHop cats from the USA - Azon Blaze,Verb from Arizona,M.Simile, who came calling for Xblaze, once they heard some of his works on My Space.

From L-R: Xblaze, his sis Nikki Laoye and Rap2Sai
Producing the hit song, "Taka Sufe" for his sister, Nikki Laoye, which featured Rooftop Mcs and their older brother, Rap2Sai aka Femi Laoye, got Xblaze in the spotlight.
The song was nominated for numerous awards and went on to win "Best New Director" for its video at the Nigerian Music Video Awards in 2010.
The video also premiered as one of the first Nigerian videos to be aired in the USA on the top Black Entertainment Television network, BET as Nikki Laoye was one of the first 3 Nigerian Artistes to be showcased on the channel. It still remains on their most frequently played video list.

SPECIAL FEATURE: NIKKI LAOYE LOSES DAD AND SHE'S STILL "STANDING"!!!

Well, like they say...life is in seasons. Sometimes you laugh and sometimes you cry. One person who can tell you how this truly feels is top Nigerian female recording artiste, Nikki Laoye.
Shortly after announcing her engagement to her beau, a dark cloud rears its head as Nikki lost her father, Prince Olushola Isaac Laoye on the 3rd of August, 2011, right on the eve of his 60th birthday.
A real shocker it was as plans were in gear for a lil family gathering on his birthday, only for Prince Laoye to pass on few minutes to midnite. It alls runs more deeply for Nikki as she was the one driving him to the hospital that night as complications in his health occured from the liver condition he had been dealing with for sometime now.
The firm and strong woman she is, Nikki made sure his birthday (which he had been looking forward to earnestly) was still celebrated that day, with the cutting of his cake, party decor and hats worn by the children even while they mourned as well.

Wasting no time, decision was made to lay her Dad to rest as soon as possible and this was done exactly 2weeks after on the 19th of August at her parents' church, Okota Baptist Church, Isolo where her Dad served as the Head of the Maintenance Department, using his skills as an Engineer to keep the house of the Lord intact.

Her dad's favourite, Nikki took charge of most of all the proceedings (Yup, Brave Nikki singlehandedly handled the arrangements for her father's embalment and chose her father's casket).
At the funeral service, she boldly sang "Joy Comes" , one of her songs from her debut album, "Angel 4 Life"(this had been her Dad's favourite song on her album) and with the support and help of close friends & family, she ensured that her father,Prince Laoye was given a very befitting farewell.

Speaking to Nikki about this recent loss, she had this to share: (Be inspired)
"Watching my father die and not being able to do anything about it was a moment i would never forget for as long as i live.  I had prayed and fasted ceaselessly for his complete healing and at that moment, it was obvious that God was telling me to let go. That this is the way God  wanted it to be. For him to come home and rest from it all. That's hard, i tell you. But like i had always told God, "Daddy, He's your son, take care of him" and now God has made the best decision for his son.
Going through this part of life called Death has opened my eyes to so much beyond the norm, nothing scares me anymore and i have moved to another level of understanding of life.
I couldn't cry at his gravesite, instead, in the disbelieving glare of all present, i took my stance as the priest over my household, stood over his grave and holding my mum and brothers' hands, i prayed for us all. Even i, am amazed at my own strength and i know its God's, really.
Jesus has indeed been our strength, people look at us and they are amazed that we lost him just a month ago 'cause we are still the way we are- full of life, laughter and joy. It's nothing but the grace of God which sustains us and keeps us this strong.
I just thank God for my father's life. He was a very strong man. He held out for so long, fought like a great soldier even till the very end and am glad God gave him to us for all these years. He was never bedridden for a day and stayed as humorous as ever, always making everyone around him laugh with his usual jokes and pranks. He's in a much better place and he's completely whole now..that's our joy, even though we miss him tooooooo much.
We are all so close that now we definately feel like a part of us is missing"

A very close knit family is Nikki's. Laughter, joy and a constant share of love is all you see whenever you are around Nikki, her three brothers and parents. And losing Daddy hasn't changed that one bit, as now they remain even much closer as she and her siblings surround their mum with all the love and care she needs at this time.

Nikki remains a woman of great courage and everyone around her is greatly encouraged by the strength she shows forth in this season of her life. From her words alone, you are inspired to stand no matter what you're going through in your own life.
Now gathering momentum, Nikki prepares for her sophomore comeback into the music industry and yes, she will be back with a bang.

Y'all better run for cover cos she's smoooooooking!!! READY! AIM!!.....don't say we didn warn ya....
Stay Tuned!!!

Note: We at WahOLAAA and Wahala Media Entertainment applaud our very own first lady and we want you to know,Nikki...that we love you and WE GOT YOU!!!

TOLU ODUKOYA IS "GIFTED & PROUD" AND SO ARE YOU!

A family of amazing talents is that of the Odukoyas. Taking over from where their mother left off, in a different way, Jimmy aka Pastor J and Tolu, who are both amazing hiphop and R&B artists, have veered into the world of music, with her same intentions of speaking the good news but this time, via their richly filled sounds.

Beyonce's Pregnant with Destiny's...Ooops! i meant, Jay-Z's Child

"Somebody's on the way o...biggy biggy bouncing baby"...a popular song line usually sung in Nigeria to playfully announce the noticed baby bum of friends or family and now i sing that for the Queen Bee herself- BEYONCE KNOWLES-CARTER, now pregnant with husband Jay-Z's baby.
This is coming right after the successful launch of her latest album titled "4" with hit singles "Run the World-Girls", "Best Thing I Never Had". Her pregnancy was confirmed at the MTV Video Music Awards which held in August, when Beyonce stepped up on the red carpet, clutching her belly during foto shots.
In no time,  MTV tweeted "OMG Beyonce just made a huge announcement on the #vma carpet! #baby!!!!!", and her reps confirmed the happy news shortly thereafter.

During the night, She performed "Love on Top" in a sparkly purple blazer, maternity pants and gravity-defying heels and while telling the crowd, “I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside me", she rubbed her belly some more.

We really look forward to seeing the beautiful creation from Beyonce's belly(though people been whispering that if its a girl, hope she won't have daddy's looks...LOL!)
Congrats Bee.

'Spartacus' star, Andy Whitfield dies of lymphoma at 39

Andy Whitfield, who played the title role in the hit cable series "Spartacus: Blood and Sand," has died at age 39, according to representatives and family.
Whitfield died Sunday in Sydney, Australia, 18 months after he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, manager Sam Maydew told the Associated Press.

"On a beautiful sunny Sydney spring morning, surrounded by his family, in the arms of his loving wife, our beautiful young warrior Andy Whitfield lost his 18 month battle with lymphoma cancer. He passed peacefully surrounded by love. Thank you to all his fans whose love and support have help carry him to this point. He will be remembered as the inspiring, courageous and gentle man, father and husband he was."Whitfield's wife Vashti said in a statement.

Andy Whitfield — who was born in Wales and moved to Australia in 1999 — was a virtual unknown when he was cast as the legendary Thracian slave in "Spartacus," a role made famous by Kirk Douglas in the 1960 Stanley Kubrick film.

The series proved a breakout hit for the Starz network and made waves with its graphic violence and sexuality.Whitfield appeared in all 13 episodes of the first season that aired in 2010, and was preparing to shoot the second when he was diagnosed with cancer.
While waiting for Whitfield's treatment and expected recovery, the network produced a six-part prequel, "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena," that aired earlier this year with only a brief voiceover from the actor.
But in January after Whitfield's condition grew worse, the network announced that another Australian actor, Liam McIntyre, would take over the role.

Starz President and CEO Chris Albrecht said in a statement -"We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend and colleague, Andy Whitfield," "We were fortunate to have worked with Andy in 'Spartacus' and came to know that the man who played a champion on-screen was also a champion in his own life."

Whitfield's previous credits included the lead role in the angel movie- "Gabriel"
as well as appearances on the Australian TV shows "Packed to the Rafters" and "McLeod's Daughters."

99.9 Beat FM's Program Director, Olisa Adibua got Colleague to "FEEL THE BEAT"

Just as Top Nigeria Radio Station, 99.9 Beat FM's slogan says "FEEL THE BEAT"...an employee therein, Dewunmi certainly did as his senior colleague Olisa Adibua assaulted him a couple of days ago.
A lot has been said about this issue and a basic description of what transpired was that Olisa Adibua, who is the Program Director for Beat 99.9 Fm and Naija FM and an OAP on Beat 99.9 Fm ,came back to the office from the industry night event which he attended, found Adewunmi Oyekanmi, who is the overnight news editor at Beat Fm, sleeping on the couch and attacked him.
The young university undergraduate decided to catch some rest after doing his duties as a night news editor. Prior to the incident, he had be warned by Olisa not to sleep on the couch in the office, and on this fateful early morning, he decided to catch a few winks.
Blows, Kicks was the wakeup call received by Dewunmi as Olisa descended on him and even smashed his phone on the ground, trampling it with his heel.

Olisa also ripped his shirt off his body and kicked him off the premises of the office by 3am in the morning. Dewunmi was at the security post when members of staff resumed at dawn.

Hmm!! And as this story streamed out to as many as heard it, loads of angry comments have poured out all over the internet against Olisa Adibua.

Olisa Adibua, Programmes Director of Beat FM
Presently, the management of Beat FM have released press statements as well as Dewunmi.
Read Dewunmi's statement below
My Official Statement -Adewunmi Oyekanmi
My name is Adewunmi Oyekanmi, news editor with the Beat 99.9 Fm.
An incident occurred at my work place within the early hours of the 8th of Sep 2011 between myself and another member of staff which has been blown out of proportion in the media.
I have been wrongfully quoted in various blogs and magazines, but this will be my first official statement and the last, so please disregard anything you might have seen, heard or read.
The incident in question has been dealt with to my satisfaction by the Management of Megalectrics, operators of The Beat 99.9 Fm, in a swift and conclusive manner.
The member of staff (Mr Olisa Adibua) with whom I had the altercation with, has duly apologized most sincerely and I have accepted, based on the fact that since I started working at the station, my relationship with the said party has always been cordial and friendly.
In reference to a purported conversation between myself and an undercover reporter, I’d like to state categorically that I have never had a phone conversation or granted any interview to any media or reporter.
What transpired was an internal matter which was leaked into the public domain to create division within our corporate entity. I refuse to be used as a pawn or be labelled ‘the voiceless or oppressed’.
Megalectrics, the operators of the beat 99.9fm employed me in the capacity of news editor in July 2010, and ever since I have had no cause to complain about the working environment, my colleagues or superiors. We operate an open system where everyone is free to speak their minds, regardless of rank of hierarchy. Once again, I’d like to reiterate that the matter has been resolved and the member of staff has apologized for the altercation we had.
In conclusion, I would like this issue to be extinguished so I can get back to my normal every day life, as the recent publications and rumors circulating have put a strain on my family and private life.
I would like to thank the management and staff of Megalectrics for the swift and decisive response to the matter. I would also like to thank everyone who showed concern. I’d like to reassure you that I am okay and in good health as is confirmed by my attached photo.
These are my final words on the subject.
Thank you very much and God bless.

Olisa has rendered a public apology statement as well on the radio stations' website.

Everyone deserves a second chance and we do hope this doesn't happen again to Dewumi or many others out there at their places of work, no matter what their offence is.
Violence is not the way to solve any issue at all.
It is well with you, Dewunmi and hey, if it aint working for you no more, just BEAT IT outta there.

And Nigerian Entertainment Award 2011 goes to....
