Ex Kush member and renowned photographer, Ty Bello has just released a new album titled "The Morning Song Book". Surprisingly, she is giving everyone the chance to download it for free.

Talking about the album, Ty expresses that the album has been in progress since 2009.

In her own words, "Today's date is really interesting. In so many ways, it speaks of complete cycles- Perfection, Double 7+7=14,Two complete cycles, Whole.

In 2009, I begun this amazing season where I would write music to God as my morning devotion. It was a unique time of discovery and I felt it was a unique way to give of myself, open and sincere. It wasn't long that I realized that I was receiving way more than I was giving. Every beautiful exchange with God always leaves us with more. 

I was also humbled when I got this heartfelt assurance that he thought the songs were perfect. 

Perfect?? If you've ever written music you would know that 'perfect' is the one word that simply evades. Well, it has taken a number of years to make and here it is. My gift to God and His to me .And yours for free for as long as I can keep it so.On a perfect  day.

NIKKI LAOYE LAUNCHES THE 2014 #BuyACane PROJECT FOR BLIND & VISUALLY IMPAIRED PERSONS

Award winning singer and Humanitarian, Nikki Laoye has kicked off the 2014 fundraising campaign tagged "The #BuyACane Project", aimed at raising funds to purchase white guide canes, which are mobility aids for blind and visually impaired persons.

The project is an ongoing initiative under her foundation, Angel 4 Life Foundation since 2012 in support of the International White Cane Day which holds on the 15th Of October, every year. This is a special day celebrated across the globe to support and encourage the achievements of visually impaired persons.

This year's edition is at hand with the theme "Keeping the Blind Moving" and will hold at Excellence Hotel in Ogba, organised by Nigeria Association of the Blind (Lagos Chapter) .

Nikki Laoye, who has an adopted blind brother herself, seeks the donation and support of the public in buying ONE white guide cane or more, at 3,500 naira each. 

These canes are not readily available in Nigeria and most impaired persons can't afford them therefore your donation will help to purchase these canes and further support their independence.

OSHADIPE TWINS: MANAGER SPEAKS ON POSSIBLE CAUSE OF TAIWO'S DEATH

Still reeling from the news of the sudden demise of  Taiwo Oshadipe, one of the popular singing duo Oshadipe Twins last Friday, their manager, Olu Akinsanya, has hinted at possible cause of her death as he revealed that the actress and singer might have died of complications arising from chest-related pains.

In an interview with The Nation, he said she was admitted at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, about a month ago and was given some medications.

According to him, “The illness wasn’t serious. She felt better when she started taking the drugs. But surprisingly, she suffered a relapse this week. On Wednesday, she called her doctor who treated her at LASUTH and was told to come over to his private hospital, as he wouldn’t be around at LASUTH until Friday.

“She went to the hospital, where the doctor carried out some medical checks on her and gave her some drugs. He also gave her an appointment for Friday. But unfortunately, in the early hours of the day, she started complaining of pains.

“This time, it was very severe; so, her twin sister, Kehinde, decided to rush her to LASUTH. However, upon reaching the hospital, she was confirmed dead. So, by 8.00a.m., Kehinde called me and I had to rush to LASUTH to see her for myself.

“It is still very shocking to me. I saw her on Wednesday and we talked and joked. We even talked about my forthcoming wedding. She promised to play at my wedding, so she asked me not to invite any other musician.

“The autopsy report will be out soon. But I know she had recovered from the illness. The last thing she complained about was the chest pain and that was what led to her death two days after.”

He further revealed that the twins lost their elder brother on the day of their album launch three years ago.

Since the news broke, sympathizers have thronged the twins' family house en masse but Kehinde and her younger brother have been relocated to an unknown destination for privacy reasons at this time.

The Oshadipe Twins are known for playing contemporary, inspirational and gospel music. They shot into the limelight with the song, Dide Olorun Mi.

DJ GOSPERELLA HOLDS OPEN HOUSE DAY FOR HIS RADIO STATION, GOSPORELLA FM THIS FRIDAY
