It's really good to see Nigerians stepping up to help one another these days...all thanks to the almighty Blackberry and social media sites that enable messages to be passed across speedily.
Funmilola Lawal, the lady with cancer on her shoulder had Don Jazzy donating 2 million towards her impending surgery as well as other artistes and fellow nigerians who donated 1,000 naira each and in no time, all the monies she required had been received in donations.
In quick succession, help was needed once again and voila! Nigerians stepped in quickly once again to help save another life.

This time, a lab technician, Idiagbonya Osarere Debbie who has been diagnosed with a non-malignant lump in her breast, needing N6M for surgical operation to remove the already infected mammary glands.
Davido, Halima Abubakar, Ruggedman and few others have already contributed towards the surgery and today, another artiste has been confirmed to have donated to save Debbie.
The popular R&B singer and Omotena crooner, SolidStar has donated N1 million naira towards this as well.
N4.5M has been realised so far and really, i say , this is an amazing recent development.
Nigerians are looking out for one another and i do hope the government and all the major players out there would take note from young people, stepping in to make a change in the lives of their fellow peers.
