NIKKI LAOYE WINS FEMALE ARTISTE OF THE YEAR AFRICA AT THE 2014 AFRICA GOSPEL MUSIC AWARDS, LONDON

Nigerian Soul Singer, Nikki Laoye is the Female Artist of the Year Africa 2014, an award bestowed to the hardworking singer at the just concluded 2014 Africa Gospel Music Awards, UK.  Indeed, it's been a roll of awards and nominations for the petite songstress since her major Headies win in December 2013 for "Best Vocal Performance Female", beating the likes of Waje, Niyola, Seyi Shay and Zaina, with her unforgettable ballad,"Only You", dedicated to her father's memory.
With the release of her chart topping dance video "123" earlier on this year, Nikki has got her name on lips across the globe and it was no surprise to see her take the top award of the night in London.

And it was a grand night at the Fairfield Halls in Croydon as all of UK's Gospel Industry and from across the world gathered to celebrate the 5th Edition of the African Gospel Music Awards on the 24th of August, 2014.

Other Nigerian artistes such as Sammy Okposo and Ayo Vincent took the Video of the Year Award and Naija FM's top OAP, Sabina Umoren got the Radio Program of the Year category for her "Sunday Best with Sabina" radio show and lots more.
With lots of amazing performances from the likes of Diana Hamilton, Evans and the grand finale performance by one of Nigeria's top gospel divas, Lara George, the night was indeed one to remember.

Here are some of the pics from the event as well as the full list of the night's winners.
We say a big congratulations to everyone.
