MEET CAITLYN JENNER: THE FORMER BRUCE JENNER COVERS JULY 2015 EDITION OF VANITY FAIR

Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, graces the July cover of Vanity Fair.
Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz (the woman behind Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's Vogue cover) shot the first portraits of Caitlyn, which were taken recently in her Malibu home.

“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life,'" Jenner, 65, tells the magazine.

In a behind the scenes video from the shoot, Caitlyn says she is finally free:

"I was probably at the Games because I was running away from a lot of things. Very, very proud of the accomplishment, I don't want to diminish that accomplishment. The last few days of doing this shoot was about my life and who I am as a person. It's not about the fanfare, it's not about people cheering in the stadium, it's not about going down the street and everybody giving me a, 'That a boy Bruce' pat on the back. This is about your life. Bruce always had to tell a lie. He was always living that lie, every day he always had a secret from morning 'til night. Caitlyn doesn't have any secrets. Soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out, I'm free."

Caitlyn sat down with Pulitzer Prize–winning contributing editor Buzz Bissinger (who also wrote Friday Night Lights) for the issue. The magazine boasts that Bissinger was given "unfettered access to Jenner and her family" and promises the interview — which hits stands on Tuesday, June 9 — discusses "the tensions, traumas, and courage that shaped Caitlyn into the woman you see today."

After the big reveal on Monday, Caitlyn launched a new Twitter account and wrote:

I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me.

Members of her famous family are voicing their support on social media.

Khloé — who was having the most difficult time with Bruce's transition — reposted the Vanity Fair cover on Instagram, writing, "We were given this life because you were strong enough to live it! I couldn't be prouder!!! Caitlyn, You are beautiful!!!"

Kendall, 19, also gave her stamp of approval.
