Home based Nigerian young man from Delta state but born and brought up in Lagos, VAD (Victor Azubuike Dorgu) is a marine engineering student of the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology.
While on the road one day, thinking on the challenges affecting his personal life, popular song "Nobody Greater" by American Recording Artist , Vashawn Mitchell kept encouraging him, so he was inspired to sing the song in a way nigerian can own...in the beautiful, deep Yoruba dialect.
VAD started music in the teenage choir of Kingdom Family Church (KFC) Ijanikin lagos at age 13 and being the son of a one time choir mistress who has got passion for Gospel Music, he found himself writing songs each time he attends rehearsals with his mum.
Growing up as the 2nd son of 5 boys (also known as the DORGU 5), whom all happened to be music oriented, He calls the church - his home.
