Born Michael Chukwuka Meme, of Imo state Nigeria Descent, Michael is a fast rising Singer/Songwriter whose music career began as a member of the Movement Band (MVMNT).
He came to limelight following his appearance as a contestant on the Voice Nigeria reality TV show, where he stood out with his amazing vocal tone and dexterity along with his unique ability to perform while playing the piano, captivating the hearts of Nigerians and the African continent at large, earning him the favorable Nickname - “Jollof Rice” .
Since the show, he has been interviewed on entertainment shows like ‘’Hilites with IK’’ airing on DSTV’S Africa Magic, EL Now on Ebony TV, and on several radio programs.
He has also worked with notable and highly talented individuals in the Nigerian Music industry including Ruby Gyang, Glowreeyah, Olaitan Dada of Natialo Productions, to mention a few.
