Starting this September 2013, tens of thousands of dreamers of Africa Descent from United States will have the opportunity to audition for a shot at the international Limelight. The show's judges will travel across 8 States which includes Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia in search for the next AFRICA'S BEST. The competitors will be narrowed down to a selected group of semifinalists who will sing their hearts out each week in front of a studio audience and television viewers.
The judges which include multiple award-winning gospel musician SONNIE BADU have their say after every performance, but the final say goes to the public, who will ultimately call in, Text Message, and Vote Online to determine who will advance to each following round, and who will go home. The Results for each competition sessions will be announced during the following night’s broadcast.
As the competitors will all be narrowed down to the last two finalists, they will sing it out to win a huge recording deal, $10,000.00 in cash, a RECORDING DEAL, and more and the ultimate title of AFRICA'S BEST - which will be sure to spark publicity in households around the world.
