Top Nigerian Celebrities have joined the campaign for internally displaced persons under the initiative, The Angel Relief Fund by award winning singer/humanitarian, Nikki Laoye's Angel 4 Life Foundation
Speaking out for a better Nigeria and soliciting for more support for displaced men, women and children in the North, each celebrity shares a few words of their own on specially designed pictures released by the foundation which is shared on their social media platforms to create further awareness amongst their fan network. They also support the relief fund with personal donations.
Some of the celebrities include Seyi Shay, Niyola, Emma Nyra, Yemi Alade, Kiki Omeili, Anny Ibrahim, Timi Dakolo, Monique, Sammie Okposo, Joe Praize, Mike Abdul, Onos, Gaise Baba, Praiseworld Radio, Capital F.E.M.I, Do2Dtun of Cool FM, Titi Oyinsan of Inspiration FM and many more.
Nikki Laoye is the Ambassador/Celebrity Voice of Refugees & Internally Displaced Persons for NCFRMI Southwest (National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons and she has set up the initiative in line with her duties as a voice for these persons of concern.
#TheAngelReliefFund is an awareness fund raising campaign to synthesize the public about the situation in Northern Nigeria and also get more involvement and donations from the society towards their needs. All Donations will be used to provide food, medical supplies, care and support for internally displaced persons at different IDP camps across the nation.
Also physical donations of foodstuff, clothing and drugs are highly welcomed as well and can be delievered to the following addresses:
1. NCFRMI (Southwest Zonal Office) - 13 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi (opposite Boat Club) Lagos
2. Angel 4 Life Foundation Office - 47 Raymond Njoku Street off Awolowo Road, Ikoyi Lagos
Items will be duly distributed by Nikki Laoye with the help of the government establishment set up for the care of IDPs in SouthWest Zone - NCFRMI Southwest (National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons) at designated IDP camps.
