Singer/Actor, Kehinde Oshadipe (of the Oshadipe Twins fame) and friends from different walks of the society will kick off THE WALK TO END LUPUS campaign tomorrow,Saturday 3rd of October, in honor of her late twin sister, Taiwo Oshadipe, who passed on exactly a year ago on this same date from Lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease.
In her memory, Kehinde started the NGO, The Oshadipetwins Initiative (TOTI) for Lupus to increase awareness,to advocate, support people living with Lupus and also promote the research for a cure of the deadly disease.
The Walk to End Lupus Now™ event comes up tomorrow the 3rd of October at 8am and the event is fully supported by notable celebrities such as Mercy Aigbe Gentry, Nikki Laoye, Iyabo Ojo, Halima Abubakar, Anny Ibrahim, Henrisoul, Moyo Lawal, Titilola Osinowo, Twins association, families, friends and the media who will converge at LTV (Hall 1) for the walk from LTV grounds in Agidingbi to The Office of the Ministry of Health, Alausa, Ikeja in honour of the late Taiwo Oshadipe who breathed her last battling with Lupus.
Special information about Lupus will be shared briefly by a doctor who is well-versed in this area.
Through this Walk and the celebrity,government officials engagement, Kehinde aims to bring further awareness and attention to this medical condition via their foundation.
Everyone is invited to be a part of this Walk initiative.

ABOUT TOTI (THE OSHADIPE TWINS INITIATIVE FOR LUPUS)
The Oshadpe Twins Initiative for Lupus is a non-governmental and nonprofit organisation established to increase awareness on the deadly Lupus disease.
Officially launched on May 3rd, 2015 exactly seven months after Taiwo's demise at the The Grandeur Events Centre, Oregun,Lagos. The foundation is borne out of the need to ensure medical practitioners and the general public become aware of Lupus, its symptoms, causes and how it can be prevented.
This foundation will intensify efforts to build interest among medical practitioners to engage in further research to unravel the causes and cure of the Lupus disease.
ABOUT OSHADIPE TWINS
Oshadipe Twins’ are ranked among the top gospel groups in Nigeria today, kicking off their career as teenagers in 1999 when they were discovered and tutored by the late music maestro, Evangelist, Dr. Sonny Okosuns who produced their first and second album for Ivory music with the debut album titled, "Jesus Came to Africa".
The identical twins have performed in highly rated shows and have shared stages with veterans such as Michael Bolton, King Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey and other contemporary artistes like Olamide, Yinka Ayefele and many others. They have also acted in the widely watched Super Story, developed soundtrack for movies, programmes, and jingles.
The Oshadipe Twins suffered a setback in 2014 when Taiwo Oshadipe passed on to glory after a brief battle with Lupus. Taiwo’s passage placed a huge responsibility of keeping the brand alive on Kehinde who has released a tribute track titled "My Reflection" - a deep solo track produced by ace producer Wole Oni, in memory of her twin sister.
Oshadipe Twins via Kehinde has overcome the setback and return to the music scene, bearing in mind, Philippians 1: 21 - “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”
Oshadipe Twins will continue to propagate the gospel and many songs and albums will be released soon.
