There will also be a Street Musical Show on Omolola Close junction on Friday, the 26th of February, 2016 to reach out to people in Okokomaiko and share God’s love with them. This will be featuring Chiika 100%,John Godfrey, Omoba, Da’son, Aijay and other anointed music ministers.
About Be-In-Health (BIHE) Foundation
BIHE Foundation was founded in 2015 by Aijay Desmond, a gospel music minister and a Medical Laboratory Scientist by profession.
Be-In-Health (BIHE) Foundation is a non-profit organization that offers FREE healthcare services and gives FREE drugs to persons living in less-privileged communities in Nigeria.
The inspiration for this cause is driven by the desire to contribute to reducing widespread deaths associated with top non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in Nigeria. Reports have shown that over 100million Nigerians currently live in destitution and less than 10% of the 170 million Nigerian population have no health insurance. If our government have not been effective in its role in providing adequate healthcare for its citizens, we can do our little bit to help even if it is to save 5 people annually.
Reports have also shown that there is an increase in more people dying of non-communicable diseases like cancer and complications of diabetes and hypertension, hence this program also serves to create awareness and sensitize people on the importance of:
i.) making healthy lifestyle choices so they can possibly live longer and
ii.) going for regular health checks as this is not regular practice for most people.
For most people, they cannot afford to go to hospitals to be checked, for others, they do not know the implication of certain health conditions, and yet for some, they may not even have a clue that they have certain health conditions. Such people get sick and may not recover because treatment was not commenced early enough.
