American music icon Lauryn Hill armed with her 20 man live band is set to impact Lagos, Nigeria for a reloaded concert tagged "Ms. Lauryn Hill: Live In Lagos", scheduled to take place on the 30th of August 2015, at the prestigious Eko Hotel & Suites. The concert will be hosted by award-winning comic and media personality Basket Mouth.
The Fugees star was slated to perform in Nigeria in May, but was postponed last minute due to unforeseen travel hurdles but issued a heartfelt apology to disappointed Nigerian fans in a video which has amassed over 11 million hits and promised to return to Nigeria with an unforgettable set.
Nonetheless the acclaimed Lauryn Hill who has 8 Grammy Awards, 3 World Music Awards, 5 MTV Video Music Awards, 8 Soul Train Awards and 3 American Music Awards in her curriculum vitae will be live in Lagos, and she has promised a revamped show like no other. The concert will also featured other African and international music superstars. More information on the concert will be announced before the 30th of August.
