Hailing from Afikpo North, Eboyin State, Nigeria and born on the 27th of July, Okey is a highly talented artiste in different capacities as a singer, song writer, producer/audio engineer and also a multi-talented instrumentalist.
Having projected his brand into the industry with renowned singles such as the ground breaking "HSKT - Head,Shoulders,Knees & Toes", "Tele' e" "Repete" and the Rock infused, "Why"; Okey now collaborates with the "123" dance queen, Nikki Laoye on the captivating new dance single, "Happy Day".
Tagged "Mr & Mrs OYA" by their fans due to their popular repetition of the yoruba word "OYA" on their respective hit singles - HSKT & 1-2-3, its indeed a great collaboration effort by the two intriguing artistes, one that their fans are presently going gaga about since the song's release today.
Okey is presently working on his debut album, alongside making hit tracks and undertaking production jobs for fellow artists including C-stas, GameMan, Akin Alabi (of "Komole" fame)
His latest effort, "Happy Day" speaks of the joy of Christ's sacrifice, proclaiming a celebration of this 'Happy Day' which exists for all mankind.
